Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) dissolve the intercellular “glue” or “cement” that is the “mortar” between the “bricks” (the dead cells of the stratum corneum).

AHAs are helpful in treating the following skin conditions: Clogged pores, Hyperpigmentation, Dryness and dehydration, Blemished and acne-prone skin, Minor wrinkles, Dull surface texture, Uneven coloring, Rough-textured skin, Sun-damaged skin

A series of six treatments twice a week for three weeks is necessary to see significant results in most cases. You will see a difference after one salon treatment, but real change in appearance is normally obvious after three treatments, and much more impressive after six treatments.  Thereafter, every other week or monthly maintenance treatments is recommended

It is imperative you use an SPF-15 sunscreen whenever using AHA products. Deliberate sun exposure or the use of tanning beds is totally counterproductive to the goals of AHA treatment, and should be avoided. *
